Luxemburg: 5 Reasons To Visit
1 City of Luxembourg
The capital of Luxembourg is a two-story city: The Old Town perched on a rugged rocky peak above a green canyon winding around it. It grew from a 10th century fortress on a promontory, and spread across the valley, which is now stretched by a vast bridge system. The two-hour walk, Wenzel Walk, takes tourists along the city's historic fortress, and through the cobbled streets passing through churches, towers and palaces. Compulsory objects: lively Place d'Armes, a square in the heart of the pedestrian zone; Bock Casemates, a magnificent tunnel tunnel piercing the rock cliffs; and the Chemin de la Corniche, a promenade overlooking the valley, and is described as the most beautiful balcony of Europe.
2. Little Switzerland
If you enjoy nature, you will love Mullerthal, which is more commonly referred to as Little Switzerland. You can go hiking or biking, along the rugged terrain, which is also an ideal place for a picnic. Bring family to have fun in the outdoors.
3. National Mining Museum in Rumelange

Rumelange is located in the south-west of the country, adjacent to the French border. The National Mining Museum is the premier place to visit, which gives you a glimpse of the national steel industry. The majority of the mines are no longer in operation today.
4. Castle Vianden
Vianden Castle is famous for its stunning gothic architecture, dating from the 10th century. The castle can be found along the northern part of the country, in the small town of Vianden. Vianden Castle is open to the public, and a must-see on the to-do list while visiting Luxembourg.
